Does the weekend really have to end?

The past two weeks have been insane and I don't want this weekend to end and the new week to begin! I can't remember everything that I have done in the last two weeks, but I will share what I can.

Last Saturday, Aidan celebrated his 5th birthday with a few friends at Recreations Outlet in Powell. The kids all showed up to play on the very big and elaborate swing sets and they left very tired. I really enjoy not having to cook and clean up for a party anymore. I am getting lazy in my old age. :) After the party Andy's parents came to sit with Aidan while Courtney went to a birthday party and Andy and I got to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Wow, 10 years! I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband! I have my days when I say exactly the opposite, but hey, he has learned how to annoy me easily over our 13 years together. Love you honey, but it's the truth. We had a peaceful evening of eating our food while it was still warm and not having to make four trips to the bathroom between the fights over who gets to use the red crayon. Finally, Andy learns how to behave in a restaurant! It was the perfect gift.

This past week was filled with doctor's appointments(4), Courtney catching and sharing a stomach bug with me(fun), my six hour orientation for nursing school(overwhelming, but it is official.... I am a nursing student. YEAH! My classes are scheduled and payed for and I have a case of books sitting in the middle of the office floor), Aidan's actual birthday(my baby is growing up), a girl scout informational night(crazy), a PTO meeting(informative), and MANY MANY errands(exhausting). I am still trying to catch my breath. I really don't want this weekend to end. My housework is done, the laundry is caught up for now, and I really want just one day to not HAVE to do something. The reality is that this is going to be the chaos known as my life for many years to come. I am trying to continue looking at the bright side of things. I still have my sense of humor and my family to laugh at me when I am acting like a fool. What more could I ask for?
